BODY

Elegant Model Posing

You may have an aesthetic concern that involves other areas of your body such as your neck, decolletage, arms, knees, thighs and stomach. Issues such as skin laxity, crepey and sagging skin, stretch marks, cellulite and thread veins are common complaints that can be addressed with certain injectable and skin treatments available in clinic.

A full consultation is required to determine which injectable treatment would be most suitable for your concern.

Turkey Neck

The sagging skin in the lower third of the face, just underneath the chin and long the jawline, sometimes referred to as “turkey neck” is a common complaint. Skincare products and non-surgical injectables can improve the issue but it may be that a surgical neck lift is the appropriate choice for long term correction. Regenerative bio-stimulating treatments such as Julaine and Radiesse work very well in this area to help tighten and improve the appearance over time.
A full consultation is required to determine suitability.

Neck/Decolletage Area

Over time the neck and decolletage can show signs of aging in the form of lines, sagging skin and crepiness. It is important we do not overlook this area, especially if we are treating the face regularly with injectables as it can begin to look out of balance. Skin boosters such as profhilo and sunekos are useful is addressing skin laxity, also bio-stimulating regenerative treatments such as Radiesse and Julaine can greatly improve collagen and elastin production creating a remodelling of the skin producing a tighter, smoother and more lifted appearance. Chemical peels are also useful to improve skin quality and tone in this area.

Skin Laxity

Arms (Bingo Wings), abdomen – often after pregnancy or weight changes, thighs particularly inner thighs and knees are common areas of skin laxity on the body. Injectable treatments can be a powerful option for improving skin laxity across the body by restoring hydration, stimulating collagen and enhancing overall skin quality. Biostimulators and skin boosters can encourage the skins natural repair process, gradually improving elasticity, helping crepey or loose skin appear tighter.

Hands

The hands are one of the first areas to show visible signs of aging because the skin here is naturally thinner and constantly exposed  to the sun and environmental stress. Over time, collagen, elastin and fat gradually deplete leading to a loss of volume that makes tendons and veins look more prominent. Dermal filler can effectively add volume in this area and skin boosters alongside chemical peels can improve the skin quality, hydration and tone.

Thread Veins on Legs

Smaller superficial veins on the legs and thighs can be treated with microsclerotherapy. An injectable treatment that can reduce the appearance of leg veins, with a course of 3 treatments over 6 months. This is only suitable for those who do not have any underlying cardiovascular conditions. A full consultation including a medical history is required to determine suitability.

Cellulite/Stretch Marks

Cellulite and stretch marks are highly complicated concerns and require a full consultation taking into consideration lifestyle factors. Sunekos Body can be used to treat stretch marks. Sunekos Body is composed of 10ml of a special combination of low density hyaluronic acid (HA) and amino acids (AA). Sunekos Cell15 is a new era of cellulite treatment. An intradermal injectable that is designed to rebuild rather than destroy, restoring the homeostatis of the skin and adipose tissue underneath. SuneKOS Cell 15 enhances skin elasticity, reduces fibrosis, and improves microcirculation for long-term skin health and visible results.

Hair Thinning

Receding hair lines and thinning of the hair because of aging, can be addressed with injectable treatments or microneedling with exosomes. Polynucleotide’s are a regenerative injectable treatment that have shown to increase hair growth by stimulating follicles. When injected into the scalp, polynucleotides activate stem cells already present in follicles, prompting dormant hairs to re-enter the growth phase and produce thicker, fuller hair. Microneedling with exosomes in this area also have some very promising case studies showing an amazing improvement in hair thickness, although the clinical evidence for this treatment is in its infancy.
