Microneedling or Dermal needling also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT), involves pricking the skin multiple times using a specially designed device with needles to induce regeneration via the wound healing cascade. This process begins with inflammation, where growth factors are released, followed by fibroblast activation and the production of new collagen and elastin—particularly Type I collagen.
